Please read this brief instruction manual carefully, which is prepared for better use of the knife in order to ensure maximum safety and maintain the product's quality characteristics over time.
The "F.Beltrame" automatic knife blades are made of stainless steel models: AISI 420, AISI 420MA5M, AISI 440.
The handles are made of anodized aluminum or stainless steel, painted with matt 40021 Soft Touch, while the auto-opening products feature handles made of deer horn, calf horn, plastics, bone, fixed with brass rivets; all pins and screws are made of stainless steel.
HOW TO USE
The product should not be used for food. Its use is purely for sports or collectibles, so please use it for these purposes only.
It is not a weapon, and although it meets the requirements of general product safety, when used and at rest there is always an inherent danger: its ability to cut; therefore, it should never be left in the hands of children or people who have a physical or mental disability in order not to injure themselves accidentally or unintentionally.
When using the product, please follow these instructions:
Do not hold the knife at the blade; do not keep the knife open, it is recommended to close it after use.
Hold the handle using your entire palm; avoid the shear stress on the blade.
Do not bend the blade, throw the knife, or use the tip of the knife as a corkscrew to open bottles or a work knife;
To open the knife, please use the slot located on the blade of the folding model, or press the button in the switch model.
The knife should never be repaired personally or by others, but only by F.lli Beltrame F&F snc.
Any use of the product other than as described, in particular for operations other than cutting, should be avoided as it is potentially dangerous.
Cleaning: Use a dry and clean cotton cloth; do not wash with water or seawater.
Do not clean the blade or solvent handle; clean the knife after each use.
If you use it a little, at least once a month clean the knife
Keep the automatic knife in a dry place; if the handle is of horn, bone or wood, we recommend storing the knife in a cabinet or closed drawer in a closed position or with a closed security device.
Maintenance: sharpen the knife only by qualified personnel, repair the knife only by the manufacturer / F.lli Beltrame F&F snc / and urge you to avoid using the knife if it is not in perfect condition (broken or damaged blade, etc.).
Avoid using the knife if the handle is defective or broken or it no longer has the functional features present at the purchase; this is the only way to guarantee maximum reliability and durability.
Be careful with the product even after it is no longer functional, as it is still posing a risk and should not be left in the reach of children.
